Feeling down and a bit useless? Let me tell you, you aren't. You're just not being kind to yourself. I've found out that a good way of expressing kindness to yourself is to be kind to others. It doesn't cost you anything and it can be as little as sharing a bit of inspiration.

Today, on the 15th of July I took someone's pain and turned it into a positive and it made me feel good! This person I went to school with and he's had a tough time as of recent with ill health/mental health, and I have respect for this person. But I reminded him that he can build a better future for himself, and that his tolerance to pain is a super power!!!

Whether he takes my pearl of wisdom is another matter, but I have done my bit, It's their turn to decide whether or not they want to use it. Not like that matters; it didn't cost me anything, just a few words of encouragement.

Once you have mastered being kind to others, being kind to yourself becomes natural!
